To apply please send a resume/CV and brief statement of interest to the lab director (steven.berg@rutgers.edu). Questions may also be directed to the lab director. Applicants should also be prepared to submit a formal application to the graduate school by 7/1/2026 (Fall 2026 start) or 9/1/2026 (Spring 2027, International Applicants) or 11/1/2026 (Spring 2027, US Based Applicants). While priority will be given to Fall 2026 applicants, Spring 2027 applicants are encouraged given the tight deadlines for Fall 2026 and as there may be more than one position available.
MS Positions: The SPACE Lab at Rutgers may have funding for MS students from time to time, but this is rare. If such funding is available it will be posted here. To be considered for the Fall 2027 intake, apply to the lab director via email by May 1, 2027. Please note that students who wish to complete a thesis must commit to a minimum of four semesters of research work in the lab; this includes 4+1 MS applicants.
