Varshaa Venkitesh

Varshaa is an undergraduate student majoring in Applied Physics at Rutgers University. She has previous research experience using molecular dynamics simulations to study interactions between lung surfactant and the coronavirus virion membrane. In the group, she hopes to deepen her understanding of electronic structure methods, many-body quantum systems, and computational techniques while contributing to interdisciplinary research. After graduating, she plans to pursue graduate studies in physics or a research career in industry.
