Joshua Li is a senior at Rutgers University pursuing a dual B.S. in Computer Science and Data Science. His primary research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and the physical sciences. He is passionate about developing and applying novel computational models to solve complex, real-world problems.

Joshua’s project experience includes building full-stack data analysis tools, developing deep learning models in PyTorch for image analysis, and architecting AI-driven automation systems in a fast-paced startup environment. In the Sun Lab, he is excited to contribute his skills in scientific programming and data science to the development of autoregressive generative models for the discovery of novel functional materials.
