Bio: Deze Liu received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Northeast Agricultural University and Syracuse University, respectively. He joined Rutgers University in the fall semester of 2023. Deze Liu’s research interests center on using network control theory, dynamics, and data-driven models to study animal behavior.
Bio: Mohammad received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering from the American University of Beirut. His research interest is in the overlap between applied mathematics and behavior, specifically in the context of control and network theory.
Bio: Akhil received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, and also has around a decade of professional software engineering experience. He is interested in control theory and its practical implementation through embedded systems on safety-critical mechatronic systems.

Bio: Lavanya is a junior undergraduate student at Rutgers University studying Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. Her interests include robotics and software development.
Bio: Maya is a sophomore from the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program double majoring in Computer Science and Classics. Her interests include robotic systems and software development.
Bio: Mahir is an undergraduate student at the Rutgers Engineering Honors Academy studying Computer Engineering and Computer Science. His research interests are robotics, applied mathematics, and machine learning.

James is a senior at Rutgers University majoring in Computer Engineering. After receiving his Bachelor’s, James plans on pursuing a PhD in Robotics. His research interests include: dynamic environment adaptation for robotic systems, long-term autonomy, computer vision, and multi-agent systems.
