Congratulations to Thaha Alam, Mariam Ali, and Nallely Pineda Turcios for their awesome presentations at the 2026 Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity! Congratulations also to graduate students, Amy Senanyake and Samrawit Gebretensay, on their presentations and panel at 2026 Showcase of Projects, Arts, Research, and Knowledge. Congratulations to the Extraordinary Eight (Nallely Pineda Turcios, Caitlin Cohen, Nasur Lambert, Thaha Alam, Faith Jackson, Mariam Ali, Sumaiya Siddique, and Francis Hill) on their excellent presentations at the 2025 Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity! I see you.

Congratulations to graduate students Chareina (Reina) Johnson, Samrawit Gebretensay, and Jasmaine Allen on the acceptance of their research for presentation at national conferences this year!

Reina received the ISSEP Student Existential Psychology Research Conference Award and presented research findings from two studies at the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) Annual Convention in Denver, Colorado, in February 2025! Reina’s work has also been accepted for presentation at the Association for Psychological Science (APS) in Washington, D.C., in May 2025.

                       

Samrawit’s research was also accepted for presentation at the Association for Psychological Science (APS) Annual Convention in May 2025 in Washington, DC. She is also awaiting a decision on her first grant submission!

 

Jasmaine’s research was accepted at the 2025 National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Conference on Student Success in Higher Education in Denver, Colorado.
