Graduate student at Rutgers Linguistics, studying syntax-semantics interface phenomena in Austronesian languages, particularly those of the Philippines. Semantics is generally understudied in this language family, and I hope to contribute to the literature with work on modality, discourse particles, and perspectival shift.
