The Journal of Studies on Alcohol Celebrates 75 years

On April 30, 2014, the Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs hosted a 75th-anniversary reception in the atrium of the Life Sciences Building on Rutgers University’s Busch Campus.

The journal, originally called the Quarterly Journal of Studies on Alcohol, is the oldest substance-related publication of its kind in the United States and helped establish the study of substance use as a legitimate area of scientific investigation.
