  • April 4th, 2022- Brian Zalma presented his work entitled “Autophagy is Disrupted in the Livers of Obese Mice Exposed to Asparaginase” selected for oral presentation at the “Spotlight Session- Cancer Signaling and Therapeutics” at the Experimental Biology 2022 Conference.
  • Congratulations to Jordan Levy for being awarded the 2022 Cell & Molecular Physiology Section Research Recognition Award – at the Experimental Biology scientific conference in Philadelphia, PA!
  • April 3rd, 2022 – Jordan Levy will be presented his work entitled, “Dietary Protein Quality Influences Liver Circadian Rhythms in a GCN2-dependent Manner” at Experimental Biology.

  • March 11th, 2022 – Congratulations to Dr. William Jonsson who successfully defended his doctoral dissertation entitled “Dietary Amino Acid Restriction and the Integrated Stress Response”.
  • February 14th, 2022- Brian Zalma was awarded a travel award from the Rutgers Center for Lipid Research.
  • December 15th, 2021 – Congratulations to Jeffrey Burns who successfully defended his Masters thesis! Jeff has accepted a job at Bristol Meyers Squibb starting in January 2022.
  • December 7th, 2021 – Brian Zalma was invited to present his work at the Ludwig Princeton Cancer Institute Inaugural Symposium.
  • November 7th, 2021 – Congratulations to Brian Zalma for completing the New York City marathon!

  • April 2021, William Jonsson’s paper (https://academic.oup.com/jn/article/151/4/785/6123776) was selected as the “Editor’s Choice” and received a commentary in the The Journal of Nutrition, Volume 151, Issue 4.
  • The Anthony Lab is proud to announce that William Jonsson’s manuscript “Physiological responses to dietary sulfur amino acid restriction in mice are influenced by Atf4 status and biological sex” was accepted for publication by the Journal of Nutrition! Congratulations to lead author William, plus contributing authors Nick Margolies, Brian Zalma, Jordan Levy, and Emily Mirek!
