Krish Poudel is a student in the seven-year BS/MD program with the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. In the Astrof Lab, Krish is focused on investigating lymphatic system development. Krish is also developing a novel Raspberry Pi device to monitor temperature real-time in lab freezers. At NJIT, Krish is a biomedical engineering major, interested in medical devices and imaging. His previous research experience entails automating the analysis of metastatic lung tumors, engineering decellularization devices, and analyzing histologies to explore the efficacy of hydrogel therapies.
In his free time, Krish camps, hikes, plays basketball, practices taekwondo, and reads.
