A postdoctoral position is now open to study the roles of cell-extracellular matrix (ECM) interactions in cardiovascular development and congenital heart disease. Projects in the lab focus on the role of ECM in the regulation of vascular progenitor migration, cell fate specification, and vascular remodeling during blood vessel morphogenesis. The successful candidate will combine genetic manipulation, embryology, cell biology, confocal imaging, and super-resolution microscopy to study cellular, molecular, and genetic mechanisms regulating blood vessel formation and patterning.
