The 20th Anniversary Rutgers Dancesport Competition returns on March 2nd, 2024!

Our competition will be held in the College Avenue Gymnasium: 130 College Ave, New Brunswick New Jersey 08901. More information about directions to the venue, parking, and entrances.

Registration

A TBA partner may be found prior to and on the competition day. Please use our TBA Pairing Spreadsheet to find a partner prior to the competition.

Payment Information

We are accepting payment through cash and check.

  • If you are paying in cash, we will accept payment at the door.
  • Checks must be made payable to “Rutgers University”.
    • Specify “Ballroom Competition Registration Fees” in the memo and include a note for your affiliation/competitors.
    • Mail check to:

  • Payments must be postmarked by Feb 22nd, 2020.
    • If you anticipate issues getting the payment on time, contact our Competition Coordinator as early as possible. If payment is not been received in a timely manner, you will not be eligible to compete. And we want you to compete!
    • If your university or organization is in charge of sending out payment for fees, please bring confirmation that they have done so, to avoid confusion on competition day.
    • Payment can be made during registration on competition day, but this must be pre-discussed before the competition (email Competition Coordinator).

We offer free refunds for cancellations made during early registration periods. In an event of cancellation during the regular registration, we offer a 50 % refund. During the late registration period, all payments are final. Competitors will be responsible for paying registration fees, whether or not they compete.

Getting Involved

Our competition thrives on the energy of passionate individuals like you. We’re on the lookout for dedicated community members to volunteer or sponsor us in making this an unforgettable event! Volunteers may assist with registration, operate as deck captain, assist officials, or help with the setup and cleanup during the competition. Sponsors may provide direct support to offset costs or styling services on the day of the competition. We are open you all ideas for collaboration!
