As a teacher, it is very important to me that my students learn how to think critically and how to use economic and marketing concepts and theories to address real world problems and provide plausible solutions. I want my students to learn concepts but also to understand and know how to use them in combination with other concepts and methods they have already learned in other classes to examine real-world problems. I use case studies, hands-on semester long research projects which are typically team projects to foster collaborative learning, and other related pedagogical tools to engage students in active learning.

I teach the following classes:

a. Undergraduate Courses (each AY)

b. Undergraduate Courses (as needed)

c. Undergraduate Independent Study (by arrangement only; interested students are advised to contact me directly)

  • Research in Agricultural Resource Economics (11:373:491 and 11:373:492)
  • Issues in Agricultural Businesses (11:373:495)

d. University-wide Undergraduate Research Programs

e. Graduate Courses
