Autonomy. Justice. Beneficence. Non-maleficence.

The Bioethics Society of Rutgers University and The Rutgers Journal of Bioethics are sister organizations proudly overseen by undergraduate students at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick. We welcome students from all disciplines—biological, physical, and social sciences, philosophy, engineering, pharmacy, medicine, public health, and more—to join us in learning more about topics relevant to 21st-century bioethics. Consider joining the discussion at the Society’s bi-weekly meetings and submitting your writing for inclusion in our annual Journal.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or comments you might have.

We are proud to announce the publication of the 15th volume of the Rutgers Journal of Bioethics!

Thank you to the hardworking student staff of the Journal and Society! Distribution will be mostly online. Please feel free to circulate the Journal.

We hope you enjoy the read, and remember to be bioethically conscientious during the COVID-19 epidemic—practice social distancing and proper handwashing!

We are accepting submissions to our 16th volume until October 16, 2024.
