Jeffrey Luci received his Ph.D. in organometallic chemistry from the University of Iowa. He was an NIH Cancer Imaging Fellow at Vanderbilt University whereupon completing, he became faculty in Radiology and Radiological Sciences. Jeff later moved to the University of Texas at Austin where he was as a Research Assistant Professor of Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering and served as the Technical Director of the Biomedical Imaging Center. He brings over 30 years of experience in research using nuclear magnetic resonance, with the last 20 focused on neuroimaging techniques with MRI but also including CT, PET, and SPECT. Jeff is committed to developing open source software and scientific equipment designs, and actively collaborates with & consults for colleagues at other renown imaging centers.
