Neuroimaging Methods Seminar and Journal Club – session 6

December 13, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

This will be the sixth and last in the series of nuclear magnetic resonance physics for non-physicists given by Jeff Luci, Technical Director of CAHBIR, and it will address the foundations of magnetic resonance. The workshops are intended for people who have no or very little background in physics and biomedical engineering. The full series will include demonstrations, hands-on experiments, and other non-lecture based methods. They are intended to be conversational in style and non-formal in tone. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

These physics workshops will be scheduled weekly for the rest of the academic term. After that, the seminar and journal club will explore issues of interest to the neuroimaging community in general. Data handling, analysis practices, safety, ethics, best practices, and more will all be common topics. When literature is published that is of broad interest, trainees will be asked to present them and lead discussions.
