Laura Gunn

Laura is Vice President of Government Relations at the NJ Chamber of Commerce and has been part of the team for more than three years. She is one of two lobbyists at the Chamber, and her focus is on economic development, taxation, and health care. In addition to this role, she also works with other team members on communications pieces, planning events, and recruiting/maintaining members. Recently, Laura and her colleague created the Chamber’s Young Professionals networking group.

Before joining the NJ Chamber, Laura was legislative liaison for the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission, overseeing the Office of Intergovernmental Relations, and interacting with legislative offices on casework and legislation related to the Commission.

Laura also served as legislative director and chief of staff for former Assemblywoman Donna Simon; and before that as an aide in Gov. Christie’s Office of Constituent Relations.

A native of Roselle Park, Union County, Laura is a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey. Laura currently lives in Mount Holly with her husband (Ben) and dog (Sailor).
