Tom Dinapoli

I’m a Ph.D. student in the Chakram Lab studying superconducting quantum systems. I grew up here in central New Jersey, venturing north to Dartmouth College for my undergraduate studies in physics, astronomy, and music. After graduating in 2010, I spent several years in industry, mostly as a physics engineer working on proton accelerators used in cancer treatment. Prior to joining Professor Chakram’s group, I worked with Professor Michael Gershenson’s group on several topics adjacent to my current research, including investigations of granular aluminum and unconventional Josephson junction chains.
