Prof. Gregory Dignon

Greg obtained his PhD from Lehigh University in 2019. After a 3-year postdoc at the Laufer Center at Stony Brook University, he joined the faculty at Rutgers CBE in the Fall of 2022. His expertise is in statistical mechanics and molecular simulations, which he has applied to important problems in fields of biophysics and biotechnology. His current research will develop and apply theoretical and computational approaches to biomolecular interactions, and how they underlie macroscopic phenomena.

When not doing research, Greg also enjoys hiking, playing the guitar, and learning new languages.
