Manny’s Friends

Manny’s Friends celebrates the many people and partners who helped create My Friend Manny, a children’s book that tells the remarkable story of Manny the Mastodon.

This interdisciplinary project brought together Rutgers students, faculty, museum staff, designers, educators, alumni, and community supporters who collaborated to research, write, illustrate, and share Manny’s journey from his life in the Ice Age to his discovery in New Jersey and his home at the Rutgers Geology Museum.
