Demetria is a junior majoring in English with a minor in Creative Writing, and she’s always had a love for stories, both reading them and writing her own. This fall, she plans to continue her journey at Rutgers University by pursuing a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and K–12 English Education through the Rutgers Graduate School of Education. While literature is her true home, Demetria is also a not‑so‑secret fan of science and animals, and she loves finding ways to blend curiosity, creativity, and learning. If she weren’t busy falling in love with books, she might be training to be a veterinarian or a marine biologist (especially if it involved working with orcas!). Demetria is thrilled to help bring this playful, science‑inspired children’s book to life and hopes it sparks excitement and imagination for young readers everywhere.
