Southern COE Sponsored Event : Xylazine Training

This live webinar and in-person course series that will use a standardized, evidence-based substance use disorder (SUD) prevention, treatment, harm reduction, and recovery curriculum to train and inform New Jersey health care licensees with prescribing authority, in compliance with federal and state statutory and regulatory guidelines. This is designed to inform New Jersey health care professionals with prescribing authority and all members of the interdisciplinary care team on the epidemiology and pharmacology of xylazine, medical management of xylazine withdrawal, wound care management and harm reduction, and co-treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD).
