The MC2 lab and SPAN lab teamed up last week for our very first MemPhys day! MemPhys day provided members from both labs the opportunity to learn more about the other lab’s specialty!
Members from the MC lab presented several different memory tasks that can be used to study different forms of memory such as recognition and recall. Members from both labs were able to test their own memory with interactive examples!
After a quick snack break, Dr. Karen Smith presented a brief overview of the physiology measurements commonly used for obtaining sympathetic and parasympatheic responses in emotion research. She then demonstrated how to set up the physiological measurements on volunteers!
