At the Rutgers NJMS IDP, our transgender clinical program has been in place since 2017; we designed the program to meet the needs of trans and non-binary folks living in New Jersey. We offer hormone treatments integrated with high-quality primary care services.
We reference the most up-to-date guidelines to provide safe, timely, effective hormone treatments. Our goal is to achieve the best possible gender affirmation results in the healthiest way possible.
Research
Our research programs aim to improve the health of our community by providing access to cutting edge HIV prevention and treatment research studies.
Support
We also offer gender-affirming counseling, case management, and a support group: Memoirs of a Butterfly.
