The NCRN is a project funded through a grant from Lumina Foundation and managed by researchers at the George Washington Institute of Public Policy (GWIPP) and the Rutgers University Education and Employment Research Center (EERC). The NCRN is a multi-disciplinary community of scholars, practitioners and policymakers that focuses on the little-understood role of certificates, certifications and other non-degree credentials in the labor market.

Register for the 2025 NCRN Spring Conference!

The upcoming NCRN Conference will be held on May 28th, 2025 at George Washington University. Register here.

We invite speaker proposals for the conference. Prepare your proposal for a 10-minute segment, ideally with 2-3 minutes for Q&A. Priority themes for the conference are data systems, quality assurance, role of technology and AI, categorization, and outcomes/value, but all proposals will be considered. Submit your proposal here.
