Melissa Ganiere, current project manager for the United States Qualifications Framework group, and Todd Lee Goen, interim Vice President of the USQF Board of Directors, will be discussing the development of a National Qualifications Framework in the United States.  The USQF is a newly established non-profit in DC whose mission is to establish a functioning NQF in in the United States.  Participants will learn what progress has been made in this initiative and what is still required. In addition, we will investigate how non-degree credentials will fit within this framework.

The NCRN is a project funded through a grant from Lumina Foundation and managed by researchers at the George Washington Institute of Public Policy (GWIPP) and the Rutgers University Education and Employment Research Center (EERC). The NCRN is a multi-disciplinary community of scholars, practitioners and policymakers that focuses on the little-understood role of certificates, certifications and other non-degree credentials in the labor market.
