Zoom enables users to host and participate in virtual meetings from any internet connected computer or mobile device.  Rutgers provides Zoom access to all faculty, staff, and students.

The Zoom Product Suite

The Zoom suite of services includes Zoom Meetings and Webinars. Although these services share most Zoom features, there are a few key features in each of the services that make them unique.

Zoom Meetings is best fit for scheduled or impromptu meetings involving both internal and external collaborators. Zoom Webinars is designed for conducting large, online events with up to 100 video participants and 10,000 attendees. Zoom Webinars can be tailored with branding, registration, and host controls.

Compatible Devices

Zoom video conferences can be joined from any internet connected computer or mobile device. Audio and video can be transmitted through your device’s internal microphone and camera (laptops, phones, tablets) or an externally attached microphone or camera such as a USB webcam attached to a computer. If internal or externally attached microphone is not available, attendees have the option of calling in using a phone.
