Get Involved with RUSHRM


The Finance Team maintains the budget, records, receipts, and income and expenditures of RUSHRM. Most importantly, team members are tasked with monitoring payments and reimbursements to all Leadership Team members and Officers, making sure that everything is paid for from external vendors.  The team is also responsible for maintaining a relationship with GSA Funding.

The Information Technology & 
Operations Team is responsible for conference day execution, maintaining the RUSHRM website, creating registrations on EventBrite and monitoring RSVPs for RUSHRM sponsored events. Also responsible for coordinating logistical tasks for all workshops and RUSHRM events

The Marketing & Communications Team designs and distributes RUSHRM materials. The team’s main focus is on promoting and executing the Annual Business Conference. The team also puts out the bi-annual RU SHRM Newsletter which is sent to all students and alumni, and builds an annual events and meeting calendar.

The Membership Team
 is in charge of coordinating list-serves for all RUSHRM events. The team also works with the Marketing & Communications Team to distribute appropriate information to students and professionals working the conference. The team also collaborates with the Merit Awards Team to brainstorm goals for student involvement throughout the year.

The Merit Awards Team
is committed to earning the recognition for all the hard work and efforts put in by RUSHRM in organizing various events. The team is responsible for gathering all of the necessary information needed from faculty, staff, and RUSHRM Leadership in order to complete the award application forms each year. Additionally, Merit Awards collaborates with the Membership Team to brainstorm ways to boost National SHRM Membership within the student population and RU SHRM.
