Dr. Wayne Fisher was recently awarded funding from the New Jersey Governor’s Council for Medical Research and Treatment of Autism for the next New Jersey Autism Center of Excellence (NJACE) grant. This 5-year award will promote increased communication and collaboration amongst autism researchers, educators, practitioners, and autistic individuals and their families with the goals of (a) improving our understanding of and ability to diagnose and treat autism, (b) decreasing service disparities, and (c) improving health outcomes for all New Jersey individuals and families affected by autism.
