Dr. Katie Cucinotta is a postdoctoral resident at Rutgers Brain Health Institute, where she serves as a BCBA-D at the Children’s Specialized Hospital–Rutgers University Center for Autism Research, Education, and Services (CSH–RUCARES) Severe Behavior Program. She earned her B.S. in Physics from St. Joseph’s University, followed by her M.S. and Ph.D. from West Virginia University. Katie’s research interests include translational models of relapse, reinforcement schedule-thinning procedures, and increasing physical activity. She contributes to the field by serving as a guest reviewer for behavior-analytic journals, including The Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis and Behavior Analysis in Practice. Clinically, Katie has worked with clients and stakeholders in general and alternative education placements (West Virginia), severe behavior clinics (Georgia and New Jersey), and vocational and skill acquisition programs (Pennsylvania).
