Hello everyone, my name is Evan Feldman and I am a sophomore studying Computer Science and Economics. On campus I sit on the Rutgers University Student Assembly’s Allocations Board and serve volunteer as a tutor. I am a lover of all things outdoors, and you could always find me snowboarding, scuba diving, or laying on a beach(soon also jumping out of planes). I am also an avid reader and a huge fan of MMA. Being surrounded by friends and family is a necessity in my life as well. In this class I am looking forward to exploring the cultural and political history of Japan, as well as the relationship Rutgers has developed with the nation over the past 150 years. It is a great honor to have the opportunity to take part in this course, as discovering new cultures is something that I love. I believe that the more cultures you can connect with, the more people you can connect with, and that is a wonderful thing.
