Dujuan Kang is an Assistant Research Professor in ocean and climate science at Rutgers. She uses both theoretical and numerical methods to study multi-scale ocean dynamics and their interactions with the atmosphere and ecosystem. Her research aims to improve the understanding and prediction of regional-to-global climate and environmental change. Dujuan obtained M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Environmental Fluid Mechanics from Stanford University. She also has a B.S. degree in Atmospheric Sciences from Peking University and an M.S. degree in Atmospheric Sciences from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
