Bineet has obtained his PhD in Materials Science from JAIST, Japan. He has dual Master’s degrees in Chemistry (University of Delhi, India) and in Material Science (JAIST, Japan). In his Bachelor’s, he graduated with honors in Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University, India. He has been working in the field of artificial cells (lipid and peptide vesicles) in relation to cell-free protein synthesis. In the Shi lab, he will be working on characterization of biomolecular condensates associated with neurodegenerative diseases. Apart from research, he likes to play Table Tennis, enjoy cooking, and has interest in photography/videography.
