Sahar is a current senior majoring in Biomathematics and Minoring in Cinema Studies and hopes to get a Masters in Mathematics. She joined Dr. Shi’s lab in 2023 after hearing him speak about his research in her Organic Chemistry class. Since then, the mathematical calculations associated with diffusion in cells has been something of great interest to her. She plays piano and volunteer coaches her local rowing club in her free time.
