The Swarm Intelligence Lab at Rutgers University invites applications for one fully funded Ph.D. position in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering to work on data-driven modeling of fish collective behavior and its application to swarm robotics.
Start Date: Spring 2026
Candidate Profile:
- B.S. and/or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Must currently reside in the United States and be eligible to begin graduate studies in Spring 2026
- Strong foundation in mathematics.
- Interests/Skills in at least two of the following: Data science, Control theory, Dynamical systems, Animal behavior, Robotics, Optimization
