Had a fantastic Day 1 at the DSI 2025 Conference! The venue was excellent, the food delicious, and the weather absolutely perfect. The first day was packed with engaging research presentations, inspiring teaching showcases, an insightful keynote, and a range of professional development panels, workshops, and consortia.
One highlight was the mid-career panel organized by Rachna Shah, featuring distinguished panelists Thomas Choi, Kevin Linderman, Sean Handley, and Tyson Browning. They shared thoughtful personal stories and valuable perspectives on how mid-career faculty can navigate career choices, balance administrative responsibilities with research, and pursue new and exciting ideas.
