About The Project

Welcome to the virtual archives of the Center of Alcohol and Substance Use Studies (CAS), a leader in alcohol research, education and training, as well as documentation and publication of alcohol literature since 1940. The staff of the former Information Services Division is pleased to share resources from its archival collection, including content from the Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs and its predecessors, the Journal of Studies on Alcohol, and the Quarterly Journal of Studies on Alcohol.

Committed to serving both the Rutgers community and the general public, these pages provide a glimpse into the wealth of resources at the Alcohol Studies Archives that were to be stored in the virtual AlcVault.
