- Senior studying Biomedical Engineering with a tissue engineering focus
- President of BMES – manage entire board, work closely with the BME department to plan events
- Undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Francois Berthiaume’s lab with Dr. Rick Cohen. I am working on developing a PDGF-B treatment for chronic wound patients to promote wound healing.
- Co-op at Century Therapeutics for 1 year in Analytical Devlopment and Quality Control where I screened iPSC cell lines for residual viruses, specifically Sendai virus
- Internship in Century Therapeutics for the summer in Cell Engineering. My project focused on determining if gene editing is possible at the TRAC locus
- Undergraduate Research Assistant in freshmen year with Dr. Martin Yarmush where I worked on a venipuncture poin-of-care device. I was responsible for analyzing blood for the early detection of cancer
- Other Involvement: Vice President and Merchandise Chair of Rutgers Equestrian Team
- After graduation, I plan to work in industry in immunoncology and then pursue a PhD abroad in Immunology. My end goal is to work on Crohn’s Disease.
- Fun fact: I own a horse named Asteria 🙂
- My Advice: Always look at the bigger picture. Why did you want to be an engineer in the first place? Where do you see yourself years from now? Don’t let yourself get caught in the day-to-day.

- Year-round internship at Colgate-Palmolive where I was working in the Implementation & Support group to troubleshoot formulations for different personal care products.
- After graduation my goal is to work in the industry in either a biotech or pharmaceuticals company for 2-3 years before I do my Masters.
- Fun Fact: I’ve been to Niagara Falls around 5 times for the same family vacation.
- My Advice: Other than classes make sure to make the best of your time at Rutgers by joining different orgs, making new friends, and experiencing different things at Rutgers.

- My Advice: Whenever you feel unmotivated or like you can’t do engineering or school anymore remember your why. Why did you start doing what you are doing in the first place. Your why can change over the years, but never forget what fuels your fire.

- After graduation, I hope to attend medical school and use my engineering and medical knowledge to develop cures for degenerative neuro diseases.

- My advice: Have fun! Engineering, especially biomedical engineering, can seem really difficult and daunting. So remember to take breaks and relax. Take your mind off of school or whatever has been bothering you and just have fun!

- Hi everyone! I’m a Senior studying BME with a Packaging Engineering Certificate and a minor in Entrepreneurship!
- I’m a PR Co-Chair!! I help run the social media accounts and create content to spread word about BMES.
- I’m also in Theta Tau, Rutgers only co-ed Engineering Fraternity, SWE, Young Jains of America, and Shakti, a South Asian based mental health org on campus!
- I love to bake, cook, and try out new recipes! I also love being outside and going on walks with my friends. I am always down to sit and read (The Alchemist by Paul Coelho is my favorite). You can catch me listening to music almost all the time 🙂

- My advice: Engineering can be a really challenging major, make sure you spare time on your hobbies and the things you love besides academics.
