 Our Mission

The Rutgers Biomedical Engineering Society provides academic, professional, career development, and social events for BME students while promoting the field of Biomedical Engineering to the general public. The society also works closely with the BME Department to effectively and efficiently solve issues facing the BME community. Membership is open to current Rutgers BME undergraduates.

Our Goals

  1. Promote the activity of the Biomedical Engineering Department
  2. Serve as the voice of Rutgers students majoring in Biomedical Engineering
  3. Work with and support each other based on our interests and career goals moving forward
  4. Provide members with resources and opportunities to expand academically, professionally, and socially regarding their Biomedical Engineering journey

It is clear to see why Rutgers University is among the best universities in the nation and the Biomedical Engineering Society is meant to outline the different aspects involved with BME and those trying to succeed in BME at Rutgers University.
