	Praksha Patel President – Class of 2024 pap246@scarletmail.rutgers.edu Senior studying biomedical engineering with a focus in tissue engineering and on the pre-med track President for BMES Undergraduate Research Assistant at Dr. Chundawat’s Lab. I am responsible for determining mutants of an enzymes and performing activity assay’s I am a certified EMT and volunteer at the Englishtown Manalapan First Aid Squad. After graduation, I hope to attend medical school and use my engineering and medical knowledge to develop cures for degenerative neuro diseases. Other involvement: Allocations Subchair for EGC My advice: Have fun! Engineering, especially biomedical engineering, can seem really difficult and daunting. So remember to take breaks and relax. Take your mind off of school or whatever has been bothering you and just have fun!
