SPECIAL EVENTS EDITION!
Dear BME Undergraduates,
I hope the semester is off to a good start, and that everyone is enjoying being back on campus! I look forward to
meeting many more of you in person!
There are several great events coming up that are being planned by a variety of clubs and organizations!
NETWORK WITH STRYKER!
This Thursday, February 10th, from 7:30 to 9pm at the Richard Weeks Hall of Engineering, BME is hosting Off the Clock
Connect with Stryker Corporation, a multinational medical technologies company with offices all across the country
looking to hire interns, co-ops, and full-time graduates. There will be a presentation, demos, personal stories, Q&A,
networking and even a raffle.

To accommodate students who cannot attend in-person, it will be live-streamed on Zoom

SWE EVENTS
• Allyship in Engineering Workspaces with GAF – 2/15 @ 7pm via Zoom!
o What is an Employee Resource Group? How does collaboration occur in engineering workspaces and
encourage a supportive and innovative environment? Finally, how does allyship and our constant
support for each other’s growth help build inviting workspaces? Let’s find out!

National Engineers Week will be taking place from Monday, Feb 21st to Friday, Feb 25th. Tons of fun events are planned
such as Spirit Day, Battle of the Majors, Cardboard Canoe Races, Virtual Escape Room and more! They are also recruiting
for Pep Squad members to help advertise and run EWeek events! More information and details about the events and

RUBMES will be hosting their annual networking event in February! The company list is being finalized but includes many
who have partnered with us and frequently share internship, co-op and full-time opportunities with our students! Dates
are as follows:

In person Fair: Friday, February 25th 5-8 PM in BME Building
Interview Prep Session: Thursday, Feb 10th 8-9 PM Busch Student Center ONLY
