I grew up in Beijing, China, and came to the United States to pursue graduate studies in Biomedical Engineering in Wisconsin. I later moved to Texas for postdoctoral training and research before beginning my current journey in New Jersey.
My research background is primarily in medical imaging, with a particular focus on MRI development and clinical applications. More recently, I have transitioned into Radiation Physics, where I am interested in exploring opportunities to bridge diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy. I especially enjoy collaborations that bring together ideas from imaging, physics, and clinical practice to improve cancer care.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, drawing, and horseback riding. New Jersey’s diverse landscapes, culture, and proximity to the ocean have made it an exciting place to call home. I am grateful for the opportunity to receive rigorous medical physics residency training at Rutgers while continuing to grow as both a clinical physicist and researcher on the East Coast.
