Dr. Cui earned a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013 and an M.S. in Medical Physics from Duke University in 2015. He then completed a residency in Medical Physics at Cleveland Clinic. He joined the medical physics faculty in 2018. Dr. Cui is certified in Therapeutic Radiological Physics by the American Board of Radiology. His research focuses on Gamma Knife and linear accelerator-based stereotactic radiosurgery, radiotherapy treatment planning, and clinical workflows automation using computer programming.
