Research Assistance
Assistance is available via Zoom for topics related to research and teaching at SEBS and the Center of Alcohol and Substance Use Studies.
Examples of help include:

- searching for scholarly articles
- locating resources at Rutgers and partner institutions
- requesting books or articles full text
- understanding and selecting databases
- searching effectively in databases (PubMed, PsycInfo, Medline)

- managing citations with RefWorks and EndNote
- plagiarism and how to avoid it
- identifying predatory publishers and conferences
- designing systematic reviews
- locating rare, archival, and hard-to-find resources in alcohol studies
- copyright questions, and more
I also accept suggestions and recommendations to purchase books related to addiction-related topics and addiction studies, as well as to be added to the Recreational Reading Collection.
