PGC Meeting Attendance System

Meeting Attendance System – Meetings will be held once a month

        Fill out Google Form:

  • We will be releasing one Google Form link at each PGC meeting. The form will be open for five minutes, and everyone must fill out the form to be marked present. You must check the “I have read and understood the PGC Meeting Guidelines.”

    Sign Google Doc:

  • To prevent attendance fraud, there will be laptops at the front of each meeting where each PGC Representative, 2 E-Board Members from each org, and Class Council members will sign their name on a Google Doc.

Attendance Policy

  • Each org must send their PGC Representative and 2 E-Board Members to every PGC meeting, with exceptions only for PLS.
  • If your PGC Rep fails to complete one of their outlined responsibilities, it will count as an absence for your organization under mandatory events.

If an organization has reached 2 absences (per semester) for mandatory events, PGC will NOT reimburse for future events within the academic year. 

100% attendance is required in order to be eligible to run for PGC E-Board positions and Class Council in the future. The attendance policy does not apply to chair positions such as Webmaster, PR chair, Historian, and Social Media Chair. Excused absences are allowed if you follow the policy written down below:

PP1 students only need 100% attendance for the Spring semester to run for positions. 

Only if there are vacancies for any positions, we will consider candidates who did not meet the 100% attendance requirement. Priority goes to those who attended all meetings or had approved excused absences. 

  • Excused Absence: 
    • If you are aware prior to a mandatory PGC event (monthly meetings, Open Forum, etc.) that you will be absent, please email the PGC email (ernestmariopgc@gmail.com) with a valid reason, so you and/or your org doesn’t get an attendance strike and isn’t marked absent.
    • Emails sent after the event will not be valid for an excused absence UNLESS it is an emergency or an extenuating circumstance.
  • Tardiness/Missed Form: 
    • If you are late or missed one of the forms, please reach out to Diana (dd1158@scarletmail.rutgers.edu) or email ernestmariopgc@gmail.com.
