The American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) is a professional and scientific society that provides leadership, education, advocacy, and resources enabling clinical pharmacists to achieve excellence in practice and research. At the core of ACCP lies our vision: to drive positive changes in health care by advancing clinical pharmacist roles and responsibilities to optimize pharmacotherapy in the prevention and treatment of disease. Our mission is to advance pharmacotherapy and patient care by first equipping our members to achieve excellence in practice, research, and education. Providing a wealth of opportunities like leadership, professional development, and partnerships, ACCP promotes the generation of innovative science, successful practice models, and dissemination of new knowledge. In joint efforts with Rutgers-RWJMS, the ACCP Student Chapter also runs the Promise Clinic, bringing the exciting opportunity of providing comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services to medical students and pharmacy students alike.

APHA-ASP/NJPHA: AMERICAN PHARMACISTS ASSOCIATION – ACADEMY OF STUDENT PHARMACISTS/NEW JERSEY PHARMACISTS ASSOCIATION

Started in 1852 and now with over 62,000 members, APhA is the largest and oldest pharmacy organization in the United States! APhA-ASP represents the Academy of Student Pharmacists and is a part of pharmacy schools across the country across all 8 regions. Students who join APhA-ASP at Rutgers are exposed to all pharmacy careers through our diverse selection of professional committees, ranging from patient care to policy to international affairs! Our close involvement with the national level of APhA provides greater access to networking, participation at professional conferences, and experience in your desired career field. Most importantly, APhA fosters productive leadership and team building which will translate to individual professional and personal growth. Being part of APhA at the national level translates to lots of potential for networking, career building, and ultimately growing as an individual and a team member. XAE: CHI ALPHA EPSILON
Advisor: Mallelyne Peralta, MSW Chi Alpha Epsilon was formed to recognize the academic achievements of students admitted to colleges and universities through non-traditional criteria and serves developmental, SSS, McNair Scholars, and Educational Opportunity Program students. Its purposes are to promote continued high academic standards, foster increased communication among its members, and honor the academic excellence achieved by those students. The involvement of eligible alumni enables networking for members. Programs sponsored by the society encourage other students toward this accomplishment. |

ISPOR: INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR PHARMACOECONOMICS AND OUTCOMES RESEARCH

LKS: LAMBDA KAPPA SIGMA
Advisors: Lauren Aleksunes, PharmD, PhD; Jackie Johnston, PharmD Lambda Kappa Sigma (LKS) is the professional organization of choice for women in pharmacy. Since 1913, LKS has grown to more than 25,000 members, with 45 campuses and 36 alumni chapters chartered. NCPA: NATIONAL COMMUNITY PHARMACISTS ASSOCIATION
