The Student Experience Improvement Initiative (SEII) is central to realizing the goals established in the Rutgers University Strategic Plan, and advancing the University’s dedication to providing seamless, integrated, consistent, effective and responsive services that meet Rutgers students’ needs. Key to this effort are:

  • Clear and consistent student communications
  • Online tools with user-friendly and consistent interfaces to promote self-service
  • Service excellence among staff who provide in-person and phone call services
  • Streamlined EM/SA processes to improve student experience
  • An enhanced compliance environment
  • Pursuing opportunities to breakdown silos between campuses
  • A future state model that reflects the value of consistency across campuses when relevant and possible
  • Operating under a “one Rutgers” ideal where we encourage campuses to collaborate and communicate and leverage consistent approaches, policies, and technologies, as appropriate
