Physics at Rutgers-Newark has a long history. Since the 1960s the department has hosted educators, researchers and visionaries who helped shape the department that we have today. The department is invested in cutting edge research and evidence-based physics education.
The MS program in Applied Physics strives to form the next high-tech US workforce with excellent background in physics and skills that go beyond, such as Data Science and Physics Education. To better serve our students, we offer 3 MS tracks
