Harry and his wife Sonia Golubcow were Holocaust survivors from Miory, Poland (now located in Belarus). After losing all their family members except for one of Sonia’s sisters, Harry and  Sonia immigrated to the United States to start a new life. After living for a year in Brooklyn, they settled on a chicken farm in Vineland, NJ.  In 1966, they moved to the Atlantic City area where they ran a small hotel until their retirement. Harry passed away in 1986, and Sonia in 2018. Both of their children, Saul and Molly, are graduates of Rutgers University.
