Experiments in Linguistic Meaning (ELM) is a conference dedicated to the experimental study of linguistic meaning, with a focus on theoretical issues in semantics and pragmatics, their interplay with other components of the grammar, their relation to language processing and acquisition, and their connections to human cognition and computation.
Kristen Syrett presented twice on June 13th, a talk and a poster, at this conference. The talk was titled “Using bounds set by modals to investigate the status of partial objects and count nouns” and Kristen co-presented it with Premvanti Patel and Athulya Aravind.
