We are happy to report that Professor Akinbiyi Akinlabi was inducted into the Nigerian Academy of Letters in Lagos, Nigeria, on August 11, 2022.
The Nigerian Academy of Letters is the country’s highest body for the advancement of research in the arts and humanities. Prof. Akinlabi, along with 33 other esteemed academics, was formally welcomed as a member of the Academy at their 24th Convocation and Investiture event, held at the University of Lagos. The convocation centered around the theme “Cultural Commonalities in Nigeria’s Heterogeneity.”
